Agents remain responsible
Generated content is presented for review. Companion does not select Zendesk’s Submit button.
ResolveLayer helps support teams understand complex tickets, prepare grounded responses and move work forward—while keeping agents responsible for the final decision.

ResolveLayer is the platform.
Companion is the current browser extension for Zendesk.
Current product
ResolveLayer Companion
Companion is a self-contained browser extension that works alongside the active Zendesk ticket. It helps agents read, write and retrieve the context they need without moving the support workflow into a separate tool.
Agent assistance
Focused capability, practical workflow
Companion is designed to reduce context switching and repetitive drafting—not to replace agent judgement.
Companion turns the active conversation into a focused brief with the issue, customer intent, urgency and next action kept together.
Maya received a cracked ceramic planter, supplied a photo and is asking for a time-sensitive replacement.
Current architecture
Browser-based by design
The current product runs as a self-contained extension. Zendesk access remains frontend-only, configured provider requests are made directly, and no ResolveLayer server sits between the agent and the active workflow today.

Privacy & control
Human review is part of the architecture
Generated content is presented for review. Companion does not select Zendesk’s Submit button.
Composer text is preserved unless the agent deliberately chooses an insertion or replacement method.
When configured sources support a response, citations remain visible to the agent for review.
Provider credentials are configured in the browser profile, which is not represented as an encrypted password vault.
ResolveLayer does not currently claim security certifications or autonomous case resolution.
Platform direction
A broader support layer
This direction is in development. It describes the product family ResolveLayer is being designed to support, not released functionality.
Browser-based assistance beside Zendesk agents: briefs, drafting, retrieval and workflow support.
A standalone support workspace designed to bring operational context, assistance and oversight into one environment.
Extend ResolveLayer’s assistance model to additional support platforms while preserving clear human control.
ResolveLayer early access
We’re speaking with support teams about Companion, the browser-based architecture and the direction of the wider platform.
Early access and demos are subject to product readiness and fit.
